So we equipped the machine with a whole suite of technology to keep it running at peak performance. The TUF Gaming A14 features a large rear heatsink, making the most of its 14-inch frame. This rear exhaust keeps hot air and fan noise pointed away from you and your hands for a cooler and quieter experience.

When dust and fibers collect inside a machine, heat can get trapped, causing degraded performance over time. A filter over the A14’s air intakes helps keep dust out, allowing the CPU and GPU to breathe easier for years of smooth and stable operation.

The A14’s thermal energy is dissipated by two heatsinks, each lined with ultra-thin copper fins as slim as 0.1 mm.

Inward airflow
Not all air needs to be sent to the copper heatsinks. The fan shrouds have precisely calculated cutouts to direct airflow toward internal components like memory and VRM modules, keeping them cooler and operating at peak efficiency.
89-blade fans
The dual fans come with 89 ultra-thin blades, just 0.1mm thick, enabling high airflow and static pressure without bothersome acoustics or whine.

Both fans have a fluid bearing design, which is a tried and tested style that will keep the A14 operating at peak performance for years to come.
Redesigned keyboard
Previous keyboard designs focused on keeping the chassis temperatures cool, keeping your fingers comfortable during long gaming sessions. The newly redesigned keyboard not only keeps your hands comfortable on the trackpad and keyboard deck, but increases air intake for the main system components as well, boosting the A14’s cooling performance without increasing weight or chassis size.

Enjoy truly silent cooling under light workloads with 0dB Ambient Cooling technology. In the Silent operating mode, the cooling system switches off all fans during everyday tasks to dissipate heat passively. This lets you concentrate on your work and immerse yourself in movies with less distraction. If CPU or GPU temperatures increase, the fans automatically switch on again.
