Answer: “How many VMs of this size can this server run?”
We reserve ~10% CPU/RAM for the host OS/hypervisor automatically.

How it works: max VMs = min( available CPU cores ÷ vCPU, available RAM ÷ RAM, usable storage ÷ storage ).
Host reserve = 10% of cores/RAM (min 2 cores / 4 GB). Storage uses RAID usable capacity when set.

Configure a Server for Your Requirements
Use the Teksider Server Configurator to build a server specification around your technical requirements. Select a server platform, then choose compatible processors, memory, storage, controllers, networking, power supplies and support options. The configurator uses the technical data assigned to each WooCommerce product to show compatible components and enforce supported limits.
How the server configuration process works
Start by selecting a server chassis. The page then displays component products whose controlled compatibility fields match that server. As you configure the system, the summary tracks processor cores, memory capacity, storage, PCIe slot use and estimated power consumption. Submit the completed configuration to Teksider for review, availability confirmation and commercial pricing.
Please note: The configurator supports technical selection and compatibility checks. Final availability, lead time and quotation are confirmed separately by the Teksider team.
Server Configurator FAQs
How does the configurator determine component compatibility?
It compares controlled product data such as CPU socket, memory generation and type, drive interface, controller support, PCIe requirements and the server’s supported limits.
Can I configure memory using individual RAM modules?
Yes. Each memory product represents one DIMM. Choose the required quantity and the configurator calculates total capacity and slots used against the selected server’s limits.
Does the configurator show live pricing?
Pricing is currently supplied with the final quotation. Teksider can enable component pricing later without rebuilding the configurator.
What happens after I submit a configuration?
Your request is saved with a reference number and sent to the Teksider team. We review the specification and contact you with availability, lead time and commercial pricing.
